GPS
The Garmin StreetPilot c340 is pre-programmed with data of the entire United States, including nearly six million items in its database. And, specifically, Northshore Ambulance has pre-programmed location, direction and key information in these GPS units for each of the facilities with whom they contract – including hospitals and nursing care facilities.

An additional option for the GPS is a POI (Points of Interest) locator, which identifies schools and warns if a driver is traveling too fast. The Garmin StreetPilot c340 has a bright, 3.5-inch diagonal display with touch screen; dual integrated speakers for high-quality voice prompts; and an internal lithium-ion battery for out-of-car route planning.

The units are portable, lightweight and easy to operate.

DSS-Investigator Multi-Channel Digital Voice Recorder
The DSS-Investigator a windows based digital recorder used for storage and retrieval of voice and data recordings. Voice is recorded in a compressed format and immediately converts to Nonproprietary .WAV format for playback. The “Fast Recall” feature is designed to playback recent recordings quickly from the active monitor screen. Some of the features of the machine include;

• Fast search time, channel, dialed number, caller ID, or alpha/numeric tag
• English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Russian user interface
• Covert recordings to industry wave format for e-mail
• On-line storage and instant access to any call customized to application
• Remote access software for monitoring commputers via the local network
• Caller ID and DTMF dialed numbers and recording

Northshore Ambulance utilizes Dell computers at all bases.

RescueNet Crew Scheduler
Our RescueNet Crew Scheduler solves the problem of tedious and manual crew staffing processes and increases your effectiveness in managing complex shift patterns while adhering to the business rules of your organization. RescueNet Crew Scheduler give us the ability to manage daily schedules of all shifts & resources in conjunction with HR policies, while providing easy access for employees through its web enabled user interface. Each employee is given a user name and password to use the system.
