The David R. Tuxbury EMS Scholarship
Mr. David R. Tuxbury, 63,
passed away on May 26th, 2006. Mr. Tuxbury was the beloved husband
of 39 years to Joan L. Tuxbury and the devoted
father of Carolyn & her husband Domenic Pensavalli, Scott Tuxbury & his
wife Jennifer. Loving grandfather of Sydney & Christopher Pensavalli.
David was the CEO of Northshore Ambulance for over 12 years and will
be sadly missed by fellow employees, family and friends.
An annual scholarship will be awarded in David’s memory. A
High School senior at Salem, Peabody, Marblehead, Beverly, and Swampscott
will have the opportunity to apply for the David R. Tuxbury EMS
Scholarship
to become an EMT. The scholarship allows an all expense paid EMT
course in addition to books and materials. The application process
will begin
in February 1st of every year and the final day to apply will be
March 30th of every year. The winner will be announced sometime in
early

Write a one page essay why I want to be an EMT

An oral interview with the scholarship board
The EMT course will be provided by When Seconds Count of Salem
Massachusetts. There will be an awards dinner once the applicant
has been awarded.
